Mercedes 380SL Interior Restoration

Full reupholstery of a 1980s Mercedes 380SL interior in perforated Crest automotive leather with tuck & roll fluting, top stitching, and hand-sewn inserts.

This interior restoration project for a 1980s Mercedes 380SL brought timeless luxury back to life with premium materials and precision craftsmanship.

The back seats and interior inserts were upholstered using Crest Leather's high-grade automotive hide, perforated in-house by Boyriven Ltd for breathability and style. We applied a tuck and roll fluted design, enhanced with decorative top stitching to give it an authentic, high-end finish in keeping with the vehicle’s era.

To complement the main seating surfaces, we hand-sewed all insert cushions for a tailored, cohesive result. This two-part transformation not only improves comfort and longevity but restores the cabin's vintage character with refined, modern detailing.
