Family Bar Stool Revamp

Well-loved bar stools re-trimmed in Crest Leather as part of a kitchen revamp — a stylish and sustainable second life after 10+ years of use.

These bar stools have been part of a family kitchen for over a decade — so rather than replace them, we gave them a much-deserved refresh.

We re-trimmed the seats using Crest Leather, choosing a warm, textured brown hide that complements the kitchen's tones and adds a more timeless, refined look. The previous bright green vinyl had begun to peel and crack, but the structure of the stools remained solid — making them ideal candidates for upcycling.

This project is a perfect reminder that quality furniture can be revived, reused, and re-loved — all while reducing waste and saving money.
