Beautifully reupholstered 1947 Jaguar Mark IV seat in Vele Kale leather with a Suede Green carpet trim — a seamless blend of classic design and modern durability.

This project involved the restoration of a 1947 Jaguar Mark IV seat, a classic example of post-war British automotive craftsmanship. The original leather had seen better days, so we fully recovered the seat using premium Vele Kale leather from the Crest Leather Performance Collection — known for its durability, soft finish, and refined texture.

To complete the period-correct look with a modern edge, we paired the hide with Suede Green carpet from Boyriven Ltd, ensuring the trim complemented the tone and texture of the seat perfectly. Care was taken to preserve the original pleated design while updating the overall feel to a more resilient and luxurious finish.

The end result is a seat that not only looks stunning but is built to last — ready to return to its classic Jaguar home with style and comfort fully restored.
